Characteristics of Field Golden Retrievers

Physical Traits: Compared to Show Golden Retrievers, Field Goldens are typically leaner and more athletic. They often have darker coats ranging from gold to red and shorter fur, which results in less shedding. Their body structure is designed for agility and endurance, with wedge-shaped skulls and longer muzzles.

Temperament: Field Golden Retrievers are known for their intelligence, trainability, and friendly nature. They are energetic and require regular exercise and mental stimulation to stay happy and healthy. Their high energy levels make them suitable for active families and individuals who enjoy outdoor activities.

Differences from Show Golden Retrievers

Energy Levels: Field Goldens have higher energy levels compared to Show Goldens. They are bred for endurance and stamina, making them ideal for active owners who can provide plenty of exercise.

Training Needs: Due to their working dog heritage, Field Goldens may require more mental stimulation and training than Show Goldens. They excel in obedience, agility, and field trials.

ALL PUPS will have been twice vaccinated for 5 diseases.
They will have been treated for worms 4 times and have stool exam to verify worm free at 8 weeks.
They will be microchipped.
Licensed Veterinarian certified Health Certificate.

I started this kennel because of greedy breeders who were gouging families with exorbitant prices of $4k to $6k for a puppy. And, amateur breeders throwing together any bloodlines with no vet checks or health issues. And the worse...cheap pups with no health certificate or pedigree, so you don't know what you are buying. I will not be overcharging because I want good families that can afford to care for my pups, but don't need to take out a loan to buy one. Due to the high cost of veterinary care, feed and maintenance we have had to raise the price a bit. However, these pups will be ONLY $1,800 each in an effort to make them affordable for families while providing excellent veterinary care during the critical growth period. Top Quality Feed, 2x Vaccinated, 4x worming, microchipped and health certificate. You will own an AKC Registered Dark Red Field Golden Retriever that gets darker every year. This allows you to show in AKC events.
